NIKE Bra & Bottom Retail App, designed and developed by Storycode, was to create an engaging brand experience while helping the shopper select the appropriate sports bra and workout pant according to personal exercise needs. The app was developed for iPads that were strategically placed within the women's apparel section of major Nike stores worldwide.  I served as project manager and also assisted in brainstorming, design development and user testing.

STRATEGY

Nike provided Storycode with a design brief outlining the target audience and goals for the app along with assets. We worked through several renditions to create the user experience, testing each user interface with members of the target audience.  Our efforts focused on the "attract phase" to draw users in.  Once engaged, the app guides users through a decision making process, with added interactivity to keep them involved.

OUTCOME

The app was launched in 30 Nike retail stores worldwide. As the first of its kind for Nike, the app was considered a beta test. Analytics on user activity were collected and compiled into a report presented to Nike.  The analytics indicated the app was largely successful, so future experiences of this type are planned.
